Morgan's First Month

It is crazy to think that Morgan is a month old already. It seems like time has flown by. It is also kind of sad because I realize how big she is getting, and though I look forward to the fun things she will learn to do other than poop, pee and spit up on her mom and dad, I will miss how tiny she is and how much she likes to cuddle.

This picture was taken when she was about 5 days old. She was so tiny.

Morgan was a champ her first week of life. She had jaundice and had to get blood taken from her heel so many times to check her bilirubin levels. However, she got so used to it that she ultimatly could sleep though the process.

The doctor told us not to take Morgan out of the house to parties or shopping until she is 2 months old. It has been hard to be somewhat homebound, but I do take Morgan outside to the mail box everyday and she loves it. She is finally starting to grow into her snow clothes!

This is just a cute picture of Morgan. She is getting more and more alert each day. Which is stating the obvious, but it's good nonetheless haha.

Morgan's umbilical cord fell off after 6 days, and since then we have been bathing her and she loves it! She cries when bathtime or showertime is over.

It was also good that Morgan was born in November, because when we got home from the hospital we put up our christmas decoration, and she will just stare at the christmas lights - it is her cure to fussiness. I think I may have to leave the tree up all year.
